Sometimes, coincidences become the beginning of great projects. That’s exactly what happened when a tiny miniature car, less than one centimeter long, came into my hands. For many, it would have gone unnoticed, but for me, it became the spark that ignited an idea that today has become a reality: Selegna Juguetes, an online store specializing in scale model cars, miniatures, and collectible items.

It all began with a tiny 1/160 scale pink Volkswagen Beetle convertible. It was part of a set of vehicles meant to decorate a model train layout in the same scale. Despite its size, that little car reproduced every detail of the real model with precision: the windshield, the interior, the body lines… It was a small piece, but an extraordinary one.

As I looked at it, I thought: “Why not share this passion with other fans of model building and miniature collecting?” That was the starting point.

From that small model —and many others that came afterward— Selegna Juguetes was born, a project created so that anyone could find the miniature vehicle they’ve always wanted, expand their collection, or discover a unique and special gift.
