The most original replicas arrive so you can get on the biggest rally in the world
The Dakar Rally, formerly known as the Paris-Dakar Rally, is one of the most famous and challenging rally raid competitions in the world. Traditionally, it was held annually at the beginning of the year, for several weeks, and covered thousands of kilometers across varied terrain, from deserts to mountains and off-road tracks.
The competition was created in 1978 by Thierry Sabine and originally ran from Paris, France, to Dakar, Senegal, hence its original name. However, due to security and political concerns, in 2009 it was moved to South America, where it has been carried out in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru.
The Dakar Rally attracts participants from all over the world, from amateurs to professional drivers, and is competed in various categories, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, quads and UTVs (all-terrain utility vehicles). Participants face extreme challenges such as difficult terrain, adverse weather conditions and complex navigation, making it a test of endurance for both competitors and their vehicles.
In addition to the competition itself, the Dakar Rally is an event of great media and economic importance, with millions of spectators around the world following the stages and stories of the participants. Over the years, it has gained iconic status in the world of motorsport and remains one of the most exciting and difficult events on the international sporting calendar.
